Welcome to Mrs. Smith's 3rd Grade Classroom!  This is my first year as a 3rd Grade Teacher.  However, I have been working as a Reading Teacher at Jefferson Elementary for the past 8 years.  I'm looking forward to my new adventure in 3rd Grade.    This year the class voted on a classroom name, "Mrs. Smith's Smarties are in the House" to represent our attendance initiative.  Each day that all of the students are present, the class will receive a classroom badge.  The classroom with the best attendance percentage will receive pop-up rewards (slush puppies, popcorn etc).  I'm looking forward to seeing each of the students' smiling faces each and everyday.     Below, you will find a link to our new i-Ready program that I'm sure you've been hearing so much about.  i-Ready allows students to work on reading and math lessons appropriate for them.  Our goal is to have students complete 45 minutes in reading and 45 minutes in math each week.       Please feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns via email [email protected]   i-Ready Login   3rd Grade Wonders Spelling Lists and Outlines
