Hello Jefferson Families,

 

It is my honor to serve as the principal of Jefferson Elementary. I believe relationships are the foundation for success and that school, family, and community must work together for the betterment of all students. In that light, I plan to focus my early efforts getting to know the staff, students, and families of the Jefferson elementary community.

I am a Massena native and have lived the majority of my life in Massena. After graduating high school, I joined the military and served in the 82nd Airborne Division. I entered the field of education as a grade 6 teacher at Nightengale elementary. After 13 years of teaching, I transitioned into administration and spent the last 5 years as principal of the Norwood-Norfolk Middle School.

I am excited for the school year to begin and absorb the energy and enthusiasm our students bring with them on a daily basis. If there is anything I can do to support your child or family, please do not hesitate to reach out.
