Welcome to 4th grade! I LOVE being a Jefferson Jaguar, and I also love all of the content and adventures that 4th grade has to offer. My classroom is very busy. I like to teach using a student-led approach, where the students are able to be active participants in the learning process.    A little bit about me :) I graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2012 with a Master of Fine Arts in Literacy and a Bachelor Degree in Childhood Education Grades 1-6 with an extension in Birth-2nd. I have a 2 year old daughter and a 7 year old son.   I LOVE books. What better way to become a great reader, than to read, read, read! I use the Scholastic Reading Counts program, where the students will be setting goals for themselves each month. Please encourage your child to read as much as possible! We also use i Ready as a way to differentiate instruction to best meet your child's needs. I ready may be accessed anytime from home!
