Welcome to 6th grade writer's workshop! I have been teaching for 10 years with 8 of those years being here at Jefferson. Writer's workshop allows students the chance to practice writing, narrative, informational and opinion writing throughout the year.    The workshop is set up as the first 20 minutes is a mini lesson on a particular skill, then students work on their writing for about 40 minutes and then there is about 5 minutes at the end for them to share out in many different ways.    Every day 5 students will be getting individualized instruction at their level using i-Ready along with small group instruction.   If you have any questions about the class or your child's progress please feel free to email me at [email protected]
